JNL Introduces Insights, an Analytical Reporting System

IXONIA, Wis.April 23, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — JNL Technologies, maker of the Quantum™ nurse call, wander monitoring, and access control systems, announces the addition of a groundbreaking, powerful new reporting tool for senior community decision-makers.

With over 25 years of experience in long-term care, JNL Technologies recently announced the national launch of Quantum, a fully-featured system combining wander monitoring, access control, nurse call, and mobile alert management in one seamless platform. As the JNL team continues to drive Quantum forward, they are excited to announce the arrival of the Insights Report System, the most innovative and intelligent reporting system on the market.

The new JNL Insights Report System allows care managers and executives to see their entire community’s nurse call and door activity at a glance. They can see data such as average response times, most active alarms, and peak alarm times, providing a quick daily, weekly, or monthly snapshot of how things are going, from any web browser on the internal network. Of particular importance is response time; that is, how long residents have to wait for the assistance they need. Knowing which areas, days, and shifts experience the longest response time is key to reducing those wait times.

Calls can be filtered by categories, allowing managers to see, for example, only emergency calls, or only alarms with response times exceeding five minutes. Quantum’s precise report filters can be used to identify which areas of a facility are busiest, which residents require the most care, and the most frequent call types. “Our goal is to turn data into ‘Insights’, hence the name,” said James Gleason, JNL co-founder and president. “These are the tools you need to spot trends, identify problems, and ask the right questions to make good decisions.”

Historical per-resident data can assist with proactive care in building individualized care plans and strategies. With Insights, communities can also monitor what falls outside of the norm. Gleason also believes the data from Insights is vital for measuring the success of any improvement efforts. “With Insights, you’ll know what is happening in your facility. How can you manage something you don’t know?”

The Insights Reporting System is included with all Quantum systems. “We want these tools in the hands of every senior community decision-maker,” said Gleason.

The Quantum system is comprehensive and scalable, designed to meet both budget and community size requirements. It is currently installed in more than 60 midwestern senior communities. JNL has recently launched nationally throughout the United States and is actively recruiting dealers across the country.
